I am a Director at HBD part of Henry Boot PLC and have vast experience in delivering residential led development across the UK.
As a member of the Chartered Institution of Chartered Surveyors, I have worked in high performing teams within the public and private sector in addition to professional sport. I volunteer with ‘The Careers and Enterprise Company,’ providing career opportunities and advice to young people.
As the Chair of Capsel, I lead the board in setting the strategic direction of the business, ensuring a clear focus on delivering for our customers.
I am a fluent Welsh speaker with a keen interest in both sport and music.
I joined the Group in 2017 and have had the pleasure of seeing the business grow from being a small construction, sales and repairs company into a provider of quality new homes, which are set in desirable locations with construction styles that are sympathetic to the local area and are available at competitive prices.
I am a member of Capsel’s Senior Management team and Board, and have operational responsibility for leading our new homes, construction, sales and business support teams.
I graduated from UWE, Bristol with a BA(Hons) in Property Development and a Masters in Planning. I have spent my whole career in housing and ensure Capsel creates design excellence in the delivery of our new home’s development schemes.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and coaching rugby!
Prior to returning to the UK, I had been working overseas for approximately 20 years. During that time, I held several senior executive positions including CEO of PET-ICT Sdn Bhd Malaysia’s largest ICT company. I was also the Group CIO for Petronas Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s state-owned oil and gas company which at the time was a Fortune 100 company. Prior to working in Malaysia, I was based in Australia for 12 years. I have an extensive ICT career spanning multiple industries including pharmaceutical, education, software development, consulting engineering and Oil & Gas.
I am the Vice Chair of Capsel, and my experience has given me an understanding of the requirements for successful execution by creating and sustaining an environment that maximizes staff and organisational capabilities and aligns the organisation with its core values and a unified purpose.
I am an experienced healthcare leader who worked with the UKs largest healthcare charity, Nuffield Health, for over ten years. I began my career in healthcare as a Marketing Manager, based at Nuffield Health Hereford Hospital, rising to Sales & Services Manager and became the fourth member of the hospital’s Senior Leadership Team, working across Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Shropshire, Powys, and Monmouthshire.
In March 2019 I took the role of Hospital Director leading my team through the pandemic.
In my free time I am a keen and competitive horse rider and during the winter I enjoy hitting the ski slopes with my husband.
I joined Monmouthshire Housing Association Group in July 2020 as Director of Resources, having previously worked within the Higher Education, Health, Housing and Local Government sectors over the last 30 years. During that time, I have held a number of senior management positions, operating at Director level for over 20 years. I am a full member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy (CIPFA).
I am passionate about housing and enjoy working for such an innovative and progressive company. My priorities include securing additional facilities to meet Capsels’ exciting vision for growth and delivering homes and services that meet our stakeholders’ expectations.
I have a wide range of experience in planning, economic and community development and working in a range of complex partnerships. I am self-employed and currently supporting the development of a number of economic regeneration projects across the Welsh and English Marches.
Having previously worked for Herefordshire Council since its formation in 1998, I retired in September 2018. During my time at Herefordshire Council, I held a number of roles, including Director of Regeneration and Deputy Chief Executive.
Prior to working in Herefordshire, I worked for a number of local authorities and a New Town Development Corporation in the Northeast of England.
I am married with two boys and enjoy hill walking and rugby in my spare time.

I have a diverse, professional background, working in a range of different sectors from leisure and tourism to third sector and corporate services, with 15 years’ experience in sales, marketing and project management.
I am passionate about engaging with our customers to ensure they receive an outstanding service from the moment they view their new, dream home to the day they receive the keys.
In my spare time you will find me at the farm, surrounded by my 19 animals, writing children’s books!
I have worked in various professions during my working career and have lots of life experience. I love my current role as no two days are the same. I have a real interest in all aspects of estate agency and property development.
In my spare time I love spending with my family and friends. I am also a very keen gardener.
