A small group of Year 11 students from Fairfield High School, studying architecture and construction visited the Spire View development in Peterchurch, which is nestled in the Golden Valley. As part of their final exam the students were required to create floor plans for a residential house of their own design. Teachers reported, that by students taking a look around the new build scheme, this really helped in their understanding of the task.
Rhiannon Clarke, Construction Teacher at Fairfield High School, said, “The children had a fantastic time visiting Capsels housing development. They loved looking around the beautiful new homes that have been created.”
Laura Yemm, Property Specialist at Capsel Homes, said, “It was a pleasure to have such polite, well-behaved students visit Spire View. Hopefully, the visit will help with the work required for their final exams and has given them some insight into potential career pathways that are available within the industry.”
Works began on the site in September 2023, 7 of the 10 homes are now completed with the remaining 3 expected to be completed towards the end of 2025.
